In need of tree service in Dunedin? There are typically three reasons to trim or prune a tree. safety, aesthetics and overall health of the tree. Tree Removal in Dunedin Florida
Perhaps you need a tree removal in Dunedin. Deciding whether or not a tree should be removed can be a difficult decision and you should consider the following when assessing its future. How old is the tree? Is the tree dead or dying? What will the property look like after it is gone? Can the tree be removed? How much will it cost? Who do I call?
You should never attempt to remove a tree yourself and should always contact a tree removal professional. Have them evaluate how healthy your tree is before removing it. If more than 50% of a tree is damaged then it should be eliminated. If the damage is less than 50%, other measures can be taken to save your tree if you so desire.
How will the property look after the tree is removed? That is always something to look at as well. Price is another factor. How much will it cost to have the tree removed? Prices vary based on the tree, it’s location and what might be obstacles when removing it. At Allen’s Tree works of Dunedin, we are a family owned, licensed & insured, affordable tree removal company in Dunedin. We also service Palm Harbor, Clearwater, Safety Harbor and Largo.
EXCELLENT Based on 129 reviews Posted on Scott Van HooserMarch 2, 2026. Allen is the man! I called him about getting a quote to remove a dead mature queen palm in my yard. Allen shows up, gives me a quote within my budget (without me even telling him what my budget was), knocked down the tree, and hauled it away... ALL IN THE SAME DAY. I have a travel trailer, a fence, some nice palm trees, and a sprinkler head within just a few feet of this tree and Allen managed to get the job done safely without damaging any of my (nor my neigbors) property. Quality work at an affordable price is hard to find these days, especially when it comes to tree service around the Clearwater area, but Allen's Tree Works offers both so if you're considering anyone else for your tree service needs... just don't.Posted on Pamela RainsongNovember 28, 2025. GreatJob!!!Posted on Robin HasslerNovember 26, 2025. After seeing my neighbors getting their tree removed and saying what great service they got. I decided to use Allen's Tree Works to remove a 30 ft tree that was in a narrow space very close to my house. Their price was more than fair, and they did excellent work. I would highly recommend them for any tree service.Posted on Kathy KorzenskiNovember 25, 2025. I recently hired Allen’s Tree Service to take down a large old maple tree in my front yard. He and his team arrived early in the morning and worked very hard all day. They cleaned up the entire area. I would definitely hire this company again.Someone else in my community also used his service and were also very pleased. Kathy ScholppPosted on Sheila MansurNovember 24, 2025. Would highly recommend this company.Posted on Oriana CloudenAugust 1, 2025. Absolutely amazing job, efficient, great communication, quick and above and beyond! Truly, Allen and his team were so reasonably priced, they removed 2 large palms and cut and removed half of a very large tree for us as well. They showed up and worked very fast, they also cleared all the debris well and even leafblowed my entire front drive way, front entrance and sidewalk as well as cleaning up some debris where another palm had fallen. This was all above and beyond work. This is truly the type of service you don't come by often anymore! So happy with them. Highly recommend!Posted on Brian ViscountJuly 25, 2025. Allen and his team are amazing. We had two very tall trees in a very tight space and they made light work of it. Took only a few hours! They are all friendly and clean up very well after themselves. Highly recommend!Posted on David SimpsonMay 18, 2025. Allen’s Tree Works removed 15 trees for our community. Some of them were very large and very close to buildings. The tree removal process using Allen’s Tree Works couldn’t have gone any smoother. Thanks Allen.Posted on James McGuinessApril 27, 2025. Allen and his team were, in a word, magnificent! A little history on Dunedin, Florida
Dunedin is home to several beaches, including Dunedin Causeway, Honeymoon Island, and Caladesi Island State Park, which is consistently rated among the best beaches in the world. Dunedin is one of the few open waterfront communities from Sarasota to Cedar Key where buildings do not completely obscure the view of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico beyond; a 1-mile (1.6 km) stretch of Edgewater Drive (also known as Alternate US 19) south of downtown offers views of St. Joseph Sound, Clearwater Beach, and Caladesi Island. Downtown Clearwater and Clearwater Beach are a 6-mile (10 km) drive south on Edgewater.
The downtown business district is notable for its absence of large commercial signage, corporate franchise restaurants or chain retail stores. The Pinellas Trail, a 39-mile-long (63 km) bicycle and pedestrian trail that traverses all of Pinellas County, bisects downtown Dunedin. A large portion of the trail lies on the former roadbed of the Orange Belt Railway, the first railroad in Pinellas County, which arrived in 1888.
Since 1977, Dunedin is the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays, as well as the class-A Dunedin Blue Jays of the Florida State League. Dunedin is one of the smallest communities used by Major League spring training teams, although surrounded by a large metropolitan area. Dunedin Stadium is situated next to the Dunedin Public Library a few blocks south of downtown on Douglas Avenue, and is just two blocks east of Edgewater Drive.
